Step 5 — Connect your SpeedCoach
You will need the NK Bluetooth Smart Dongle for Windows connection.

  1. Plug the NK Bluetooth Smart Dongle into a USB port on your computer.

  2. Turn on your SpeedCoach.

  3. On the SpeedCoach:

    • Go to the Main Menu

    • Select Data LiNK
      The SpeedCoach Screen should say 'SpeedCoach is discoverable'

  4. Open NK LiNK download on your computer.

  5. ​Select what unit you want to find (top left 'Choose your connection device')

  6. Your SpeedCoach should appear in the LiNK window search box.

  7. Select your unit

How to Download NK LiNK on my Computer? Upgrade? 

Before you start:

  • NK LiNK for Windows is used to transfer, view and export workout data from compatible NK devices such as SpeedCoach GPS Training Pack, SpeedCoach OC Training Pack and SpeedCoach SUP Training Pack (Training Pack versions).

  • It is compatible with Windows 7, 8, 8.1 and Windows 10.
    **NK Dongle REQUIRED**

Step 1 — Open the NK LiNK Download Page​

  1. Open your internet browser (Chrome, Edge, etc.).

  2. Click NK LiNK version 1.32 for Windows to download the installer (.exe file)

Step 2 — Install NK LiNK Installer

  1. Open your Downloads folder.

  2. Find the file. File name is: speedcoachgpsfirmwareinstaller_222

  3. Double-click the file to open.
     

  4. If Windows asks:
    “Do you want to allow this app to make changes?”
    → Click 'Yes'.

  5. Follow the installation prompts:

  6. Click 'Next'

  7. Click 'Install'

  8. Click 'Finish'

Step 3 — Download LiNK Firmware

  1. Open your Downloads folder.

  2. Find the file. File name is: nklink_setup_1.32

Step 4 — Download LiNK Firmware

  1. If Windows asks:

“Do you want to allow this app to make changes?”
→ Click 'Yes'.
 

Follow the installation prompts:

  1. Click 'Next'

  2. Click 'Next'

  3. Click 'Next'

  4. Click 'Next' (and create icon on desktop if wanted)

  5. Click 'Install'

  6. Click 'Finish'

Step 5 — Finding your unit and Data

  1. Select what unit you are looking for in the top left of the screen (SpeedCoach, Empower or CoxBox)


On your physical unit

  1. Open the menu

  2. Click Data LiNK. On the screen, it should say that the unit is discoverable

  3. Your units serial number should now appear in the search box

  4. Click the unit serial number, the sessions will transfer and appear

You can now export the data by clicking Export to file

How do I update my Firmware? Change unit name? Upgrade my Base Pack?

  1. Click Manage

  2. Select what you are wanting to change
