ICOM IC-41PRO 5W Handheld UHF CB Radio (Orange)
$327.00
The ICOM IC-41PRO is a rugged, high-performance handheld UHF CB radio that combines 5W transmit power, exceptional audio clarity, waterproof durability, and long battery life. Its commercial-grade build quality makes it a popular choice for professionals and outdoor users who need dependable communication in challenging conditions.
Please Note: A waterproof bag provides an extra layer of protection for your radio, helping to keep it safe from water, moisture, dirt, and accidental drops. Even if the radio is water-resistant, a waterproof bag helps prevent corrosion, extends the life of the device, and protects accessories such as microphones and connectors from exposure to the elements. For rowing coaches, it's an essential accessory that ensures reliable communication in wet conditions, whether coaching from a boat, the shoreline, or during rainy regattas.

CoxBox® R2 Auxiliary Input Adapter?
The CoxBox® R2 Auxiliary Input Adapter 3.5mm allows you to connect external audio devices to your CoxBox® R2 system, enabling additional audio input during training or events. Designed with a convenient Y-splitter connection, the adapter combines both microphone and auxiliary audio through the CoxBox® standard R2 microphone port. Compact and easy to use, it ensures a secure connection and clear audio transmission. This setup enables seamless audio playback or recording from compatible devices, making it ideal for coaching, training, music playback, or other on-water communication needs. For the ICOM radio, you will need the 35mm connection.
The CoxBox® R2 Auxiliary Input Adapter allows a coach's walkie-talkie (2-way radio) to broadcast through the CoxBox speakers while still allowing the coxswain to use the microphone normally. Both audio sources are heard simultaneously—the adapter does not prioritize one over the other.
You will need 2 radios for the adapter to work.
Step-by-step
Turn the CoxBox and walkie-talkie off.
Unplug the CoxBox microphone from the microphone socket.
Plug the R2 Auxiliary Input Adapter into the CoxBox microphone port.
Plug the CoxBox microphone into one branch of the adapter.
Plug the walkie-talkie into the other branch using the correct 2.5 mm or 3.5 mm connector (depending on your radio model).
Turn on the CoxBox and the radio.
Set the walkie-talkie to a moderate volume and perform a radio check. Increase or decrease the radio volume until it is clear through the boat speakers.
During use
The coach speaks into their handheld radio.
The radio's received audio is sent into the CoxBox.
The crew hears both: the coxswain through the CoxBox microphone, and the coach through the walkie-talkie.
The coxswain does not need to press anything on the adapter.
